Follow Will the Mill
When William Davies took over the water-powered mill at the heart of our Centre in the 1700s, he began a tradition of naming his eldest son William. Each new generation inherited the mill and locally the mill owner known as ‘Mr Will the Mill’. This family continued here until 1989.
Use of this self-guided tour to follow in the footsteps of Will the Mill and explore the stories of the Centre. Once through the entrance gate we recommend you begin your tour at the waterwheel.
