This historical half day tour with one of our flour makers will show you how we produce wholemeal flour using our French burr grinding stones. This has been going on at the Mill for nearly 900 years! You will experience how the water powered mill works and the different uses that the water power has been put to over the centuries. You will learn how Medieval engineers created a fantastic supply of water to ensure that there was always water here in Parkmill to drive the water wheel. Learn about how grain is changed into flour suitable for baking, then sample some of our home produced welsh cakes and scones in the Diner. You will also be able to take home a 1 kilo bag of whole meal flour or 1 bag of ready made bread mix with a set of baking instructions.
