Find out about local hero Edgar Evans and the Scott expedition to the South Pole
Focus: Climate change, making choices, what is ‘failure’ resilience
Pupils work to reach the pole in teams learning natural history, navigation and the physics of ice
This is a hugely popular school trip
3. Iron Age Gower and it’s place in history
Become a local Celt and discover showers rich Iron Age past

4. Fairies and castles
Natural history and local myth combine into a magical day that is adapted for all key stages
Shipwrecks. Write and create a film of the moving story of the SS Agnes Jack in Porteynon
