Puppet
Theatre
The Puppet Theatre is open every day during
the holidays as well as every weekend and is taking bookings for groups
and parties.Crafts include puppet making,hand puppets ,pop ups and many
more,also paper making ,felt making ,pottery badge making,mask and maskerade
making and Bag printing and colouring.
Pottery
Workshops
Come and throw a pot on the Potter's wheel
or try your hand at clay modelling. Pottery available on weekends and
also throughout the week on request, please ring for details.
Craft
Workshops
We have a wide range of craft activities available
catering both for children and adults including puppet making, felt
and paper making, pottery workshops, bag printing , face painting, jewellery
making workshops and art classes run by our resident artist Tony Paultyn.
Circus
Skills Workshops - Saturday 15th November 11am - 4pm
Have a go at learning some circus skills with Mandy and Karen. Learn
how to juggle, spin plates and lots more! Standard entry charges apply.
Father
Christmas arrives at the Gower Heritage Centre - Sunday 23rd November
Come and visit Father Christmas in his magical Christmas grotto. Each
child that visits Father Christmas will receive a gift. A small entry
charge applies. Visit the craft shops and tearooms. You can also purchase
your real Christmas trees here at the Mill.
UPCOMING EVENTS IN 2009
Ghost
Night Special- Saturday 24th January 6:30pm - 11pm
Join in with a hunt for some of the Mill's resident ghosts. A paranormal
investigation team will lead you on a tour of the Mill and its grounds
in a scientific study of some of the ghostly characters that have been
seen around the Mill buildings.
Valentines
Night Special - Murder Mystery Evening- Saturday 14th February 6:30pm

Includes a gourmet meal in our restaurant - booking essential.
St
David's Day - Demonstration of traditional Welsh crafts - Sunday 1st
March 10am - 4pm
Including coracle making and woollen mill crafts and try some traditional
Welsh food in our tearooms.
Easter
fun - Saturday 4th April - Sunday 19th April 10am to 4pm
Enter a duck in one of our famous duck races, search the Centre for
our hidden Easter Bunnies and you could win a prize and there's lots
more to do.
Gower
Rock Festival - 18th July 2009 11am - 11pm
The Gower
Rock Festival returns for its second year!! Last year's line up included
The Mudskippers, Scotty, Steffan Tucker Band, The Magpies, Chineapple
punks and headliners Joe Schmo. This year will be bigger and better
with another great line up to be confirmed. Additional to last year,
there will be musical workshops and stalls selling instruments and other
items. More info soon!!
