La Charrette
We welcome 'La Charrette' the smallest cinema in Wales, to its new home here at the Gower Heritage Centre. The 56 year old cinema was removed from its former home in Gorseinon and is to be fully restored at the centre. The 23 seater railway carriage is now nearly operational and the cinema will shortly be showing a demonstration film at weekends and the eagerly awaited film club will soon be bringing you the best of British and worldwide film. The cinema will also available for private hire, please contact our reception for details.

Puppet Theatre
The Puppet Theatre is open every day during the holidays as well as every weekend and is taking bookings for groups and parties. Crafts include puppet making,hand puppets, pop ups and many more, also paper making, felt making, badge making, mask and maskerade making and bag printing and colouring.

Pottery Workshops
Come and throw a pot on the Potter's wheel or try your hand at clay modelling. Pottery available on weekends and also throughout the week on request, please ring for details.

Craft Workshops
We have a wide range of craft activities available catering both for children and adults including puppet making, felt and paper making, pottery workshops, bag printing, face painting and jewellery making workshops.

Gower Rock Festival - Friday 17th July 6pm - 12am & Saturday 18th July 11am - 11pm
The Gower Rock Festival returns for its second year!! We are very excited to announce our lineup for 2009's 2-day festival. Friday nights acts include local folk heroes 'BOYS FROM THE HILL' to headline with support from Hadron Collider, Dufraine, Rugfire, Nucleus and The Magpies. The Saturday all-day event is headlined by legendary Welsh rockers 'MAN' supported by King of Despair, The Blims, Double O Zeroes, Mudskippers, Frame 3-13, Sera and The Elements, Mudjack, Chineapple Punks, Laura's Diary, Holy Jack Tanglefoot, The Blitz Beat Riot, Dave Carter and an Open Mic Slot! Ghost Hunt - Wednesday 29th July 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Become a ghostbuster for the night as you join in the search to find the Mill's resident ghosts. This event is suitable for the whole family.

Medieval Fun Day - Wednesday 5th August 11am- 5pm
Fun and games for the whole family; meet a medieval knight, learn about medieval cures, join in a duel, learn about medieval cookery and crime and punishment, hunt for dragons and join in with the medieval fancy dress competition.

Country Games Day - Wednesday 12th August 11am - 5pm
Have a go at some traditional games; including inky pinky - a very messy game played with eggs and sticks, horseshoe throwing, duckstone and lots more. This event is suitable for the whole family.

Coracle Fishing Display - Saturday 15th - Sunday 16th August 11am - 3pm
See this old boat being put through it's paces. Watch fishing displays on the pond and even have a go in a coracle yourself on the leat.

Gower Bluegrass Festival - Saturday 12th September 12pm - 12am
Last years line up included Roots and Galoots, The Brandywine Cloggers and The One Tree Hillbillies. Details for this year are coming soon.

Beach Watch - Saturday 19th September 11am
Volunteers needed to help to keep Gower's beaches clean. The clean up at Three Cliffs Bay starts at the Gower Heritage Centre at 11am. All equipment is provided.

Cider Weekend - Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th October 11am - 4pm
See how cider is traditionally made using our 19th Century cider press. Visit the craft shops and local produce stalls.

Halloween Party Nights - Thursday 29th, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October
There's lots to do including fancy dress competitions, screaming competitions, broomstick races, a spooky disco, spooky pottery and puppet making workshops, dancing coompetitions, ghost hunts and lots more. This event is suitable for the whole family and sells out quickly so booking is essential.

Santa Arrives - from Sunday 29th November 12pm - 3:30pm
Visit Santa in his grotto and receive a gift. There will also be a winter puppet show, elf and snowman hunts and Christmas craft activities.
