Gower Power Co-operative's

Big Blimin' Barn Dance

Saturday 28th March 5pm until late

Join us for a late afternoon and evening of live music, an AUCTION of promises, locally produced food and booze. Featuring: " The Gower All Stars " The Balkaneers " And more bands TBC.

All the proceeds will go to Gower Power's community farming projects at Webbsfield, Ilston; Whatsmore they will get doubled by some ethical funders called Funding for Enlightened Agriculture and the A-Team Foundation that support non-intensive forms of agriculture and effective biodiversity management. 5 entry. Under 16s go free



Easter Fun


Saturday 28th March to Sunday 12th of April

There will be lots of activities to keep the children happy including -

Animal handling and feeding sessions with our animal carers

Visit our eggucation incubation centre and if you're lucky you could see some chicks hatching!

Bunny races- Don a pair of bunny ears and hop into a sack and bounce to the finish line

Easter Bunny Quiz -see if you can find all of the naughty run away bunnies

Pottery and craft Workshops*

Puppet shows

Daily guided tours of the mill and blacksmith demonstrations, will also be taking place .

You may need to bring your pyjamas as you will be 'egg'hausted by the end of your visit!

Cheese & Cider Weekend


Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th of May

10.00am - till late

The Welsh Cheese and Cider Festival offers visitors a wide selection of locally produced, award winning cheeses,ciders and perrys from Wales. There will also be stalls with local produce . Visitors will be able to sample and enjoy some of the best cheese and cider Wales has to offer. There will also be a variety of ciders such as our very own Gower produced cider called the Mill House cider along with many more. There will also be advice on how to make apple juice or cider and there will be a traditional 1890s travelling cider press on site with apple press demonstrations taking place. Our Mill Tearooms serving a wide range of Welsh classics and not forgetting the popular Welsh Cream Tea, which will be served all day.

Coracle Weekend


Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st of June

11.00am - 3.00pm

See this traditional Welsh boat being put through its paces. Learn about the history of the coracle and the story of Prince Madoc and his brave trip across the Atlantic. Watch fishing displays and have a go yourself.

The annual Gower Bluegrass Festival attracts many bluegrass musicians from the South Wales area and also from further afield across the Severn Bridge.Open picking sessions and instrumental workshops.

Come and Buy that perfect Handmade Gift in time for Christmas! With a wide variety of locally handmade items,J & L Cakes,real Christmas trees for sale and free entry to the craft fayre there will be something for everyone, including hot mulled wine and cider available from our Tearooms and Bar.

Father Christmas will be here in his Grotto every weekend from 11.00am till 4.30pm up until the 24th of December.(additional charge applies)
