Early Years
At this age, our young visitors want a safe and stimulating environment in which to learn and play. Our Fun Day Out includes looking round the old Mill, but we usually also suggest a trip to see the ducks and chickens with one of our guides, when the children will be able to feed them and see the unusual breeds we have at the Centre. A visit to the “eggucation centre” is always popular and we try to have newly hatched chicks for the children to see. There are also the guinea pigs and goats to meet before coming back to the play areas for a bit of relaxation. Craft workshops or Puppet shows are also popular with this age group, or we can organise a Teddy Hunt and Picnic. During December, the children can take part in an Elf Hunt and meet Father Christmas.
