Early Years

At this age, our young visitors want a safe and stimulating environment in which to learn and play. Our fun day out includes a look around the old Mill and we usually suggest a trip to some of the many animals we have here at the Gower Heritage Centre, including chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs. During this time the children will be able to feed them and see the unusual breeds we have at the Centre. A visit to the eggucation centre” is always popular and we try to have newly hatched chicks or ducklings for the children to see. There are also the fallabella horses and pygmy goats to meet before coming back to the play areas for a bit of relaxation. Craft workshops based around your chosen theme or topic are very popular with this age group. Some of the themed days we offer are pirates, animals and their young and farms but we can adapt the visit to suit a theme of your choice. We can also organise a teddy bear's picnic and during December, the children can take part in an elf hunt and meet Father Christmas.
