Crafts & Welsh Gifts

Several craftspeople are resident at the Centre and you can either visit their shops or watch them at work as you go round.

Our woodturner, John de filippo, has a display of various items in different turned woods. Mandy at Poppet Puppets has many different types of puppet for sale as well as puppet kits.

We also have a range of garden furniture made at the Mill which is made to order. Watch our resident artist Tony Paultyn paint classic pieces with water colours or may be get him to paint that special gift for you or if you prefer acrylics and pastel art you might be interested in Cheryl Firths display of paintings and artwork. We also have have some amazing driftwood giftwares, hand made candles and beeswax candle making kits.

The main Heritage Centre gift shop also has a wide selection of gifts and souvenirs for sale, also why not treat yourself to some delicious chocolates from CocoBean, hand made on site.

Crafts you can make yourself...
At weekends and in school holidays, Poppet Puppets offer children a variety of puppet-making workshops available weekends and by arrangement. In addition you can have the opportunity to "throw" your own pot in the tree-house pottery.
